Happy Wheels has just been released right as the tragic, blasphemous demise of Flash approaches—a truly suspenseful moment. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We hope that the anxiety over losing Happy Wheels hasn't kept you from enjoying a restful night's sleep. If you were unaware of its development, here's some exciting news: this is the game's first official public release. Please bear with us as we work to fix any remaining bugs. While I still prefer the original Flash version, what I truly appreciate about this new release is its excellent performance on mobile devices. Currently, though, there are no on-screen controls for mobile gameplay—that feature will be added in the next update. Thank you for your patience. If you're eager to try it on your phone now, a Bluetooth keyboard works perfectly for controls. Although I previously mentioned that the game would run at 60 frames per second, some of the tougher levels run noticeably slower at that frame rate. Fortunately, this setting is adjustable, and I might consider hosting a separate version at 60 Hz for users with high-performance CPUs. Overall, Happy Wheels JS aims to faithfully replicate the original game's design and gameplay experience. The user database, levels, and replays remain intact since the initial release—the only thing that has disappeared is the impending end of the universe.
